Madecassoside fluid derived from nature strengthens skin barrier by providing protective film to the skin. Contains 40mg of madecassoside, and 30% of centella asiatica leaf water.
- Centella Asiatica: Rich in amino acids, beta carotene, fatty acids and phytochemicals which in turn provides anti-aging benefits due to its ability to protect the skin from degradation. Also ideal for acne sufferers as it speeds healing, which lessens the possibility of scarring and future blemishes, as well as providing skin soothing properties.
- Niacinamide: Also known as vitamin B3. Helps to boost collagen production and in turn strengthens the skin’s natural lipid barrier. Over time, may also assist in brightening, anti-aging and reducing the appearance of enlarged pores.
- Madecassoside: Derived from the Centella Asiatica plant. Has strong anti-inflammatory effects, and stimulates fibroblasts which create collagen, hence strengthening the skin’s structure. Also contributes to anti-aging as it is an effective antioxidant. * Adenosine: Beneficial in combating wrinkles, especially crow’s feet and frown lines. Also aids in smoothening out the texture of the skin.
- Beta-Glucan: A polysaccharide sugar derived from yeast or oats. Possesses antioxidant properties and also helps to improve the appearance of redness and other signs of skin sensitivity.
How to use: Different methods of suggested use:
- Apply gently to the skin with hands and tap gently for absorption.
- Before going to bed or before applying makeup, moisten with cotton pads and use as a partial sheet mask.
- Use as facial mist by decanting some toner into an empty mist container.
My comments: I am in love with the A’PIEU Madecassoside line. A’PIEU Madecassoside Fluid is packed in transparent plastic pump dispenser bottle which I find very handy. You don’t need to shake or turn anything. You just press the pump and spread the proper amount of the fluid over your skin. I am using my hands to pat this fluid in. The texture of the toner itself is quite viscous. It has light and pleasant herbal-citrus scent. The fluid absorbs well into the skin and this makes it a good candidate for ”7 skin method”. The skin looks very moist and plump. I am applying Madecassoside Fluid in the morning as in the evening I prefer to use low pH toner with acids. After application there is a slight tacky finish which is no problem for me as it disappears after sunscreen application. The Madecassoside Fluid also works well as a primer before makeup. It is a pleasure to use the fluid on the neck area as it spreads beautifully and there is no need to press or pull gentle skin.
